| SPILLWAY RUN: For the run, we would like to all wear RED, if possible. For those who do not like to run in their official Red Chuggers shirt, then at least try to wear something with Red in the shirt. We are also going to wear red Headbands or bandanas(if that is spelled correctly). We are all going to chip in some cash to buy beer for the race, if that is o.k. | |

| Suggestion for fellow Chuggers: Being that the hottest times of the year are here and will be here for a while, everyone likes to run at night. Running on the concrete streets also takes a toll on the knees. Well, there is a solution. The newly-resurfaced City Park practice track has been leaving its lights on until 10pm. I know most of you live in BFE, but if you ever get a chance, it is a great run. I just completed a 3 mile (12 laps) run on the track and there were several other people out there, so I felt safe. Just a little friendly Chugger advice that I highly reccomend. See y'all Thursday. | |

| What a crowd for the FFA 3. It was the largest to date,with nearly 800 runners/walkers. Chugger runners included: Swami, Smitty, Table Dancer, Whichway,Mrs. Grote, Mrs. Gardner, Emily Grote, Robin D., Susan, GiGi and last but not least Namon. We also have some potential new members: Frank and Michelle Roth and family & Randy and Dawn Hoffman and family, plus Randy's friends. A good time was had by all. | |

| Logged a decent run at the Frosty fund raiser. Got there in true Healy time and literally pinned my number on AFTER the starting horn. Still managed a 17:35 by my watch (18:47 according to the clock to give you some idea of how far back I was). Saw long lost Susan, Robin, Mel and Chris and the rest of the usual suspects. | |

| Dennis is fine with me. My time was 16:00 even. If anyone is interested in doing some running / speedwork on Sunday morning @ either Jefferson Playround or Muss Bertolino Playground, please let me know. Bill and I are going to possibly run Sunday. I am guessing it will be around 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. The earlier the better for me. | |

| OK. What's everyone's times from last night? I know that I had a 17:27, Smith had a 17:10, Swami had a 16 something, Mark had a 15:48 and Burke had a 17:37. Y'all fill in the missing numbers or post corrections. I was explaining the contest to Dennis Gerarve and he wants in. He just ran his PT Test 2 mile in 17:19. I told him it would have to be OK with everyone for him to get in, so if anybody doesn't want let me know. | |

| O.K. What a list of weights. Us big boys have to show the smaller guys that we can still whip them in running, eventhough we eat their weight in food in one day. Hope all can show for the run tomorrow night. Should be a good one, or at least a good showing by the CHUGGERS. | |
